The Fox and Hounds is a charming, traditional Cornish pub located in the hamlet of Comford, perfectly placed between Redruth and Falmouth. Owned by experienced chef Dan Chapman, who has proudly run the pub for nearly nine years, the Fox and Hounds has become a welcoming destination for both locals and visitors alike.

About Us
A LITTLE BIT ABOUT THE FOX & HOUNDS
We really are proud of our pub, it’s lovely original features sympathetically enhanced with country pub décor, considering it’s 300-year-old heritage. Surrounded by extensive well-kept gardens and ample parking, you truly can relax with a local drink and locally sourced food.
We welcome families, serving a children’s menu and have highchairs for our youngest of guests. Combining our beer garden with Scoops@The Fox and Hounds, our very own ice cream parlour serving locally made Roskilly’s Ice-cream.
Being the Fox and Hounds all dogs are welcome, taking dog friendly to the next level with their own menu so your four-legged companions can dine with you. Our Front of House team love the cuddles too! Doggy ice-creams and treats are available behind the bar, along with 2 ‘Doggy bar’ water stations in our extensive beer gardens. We just ask you keep them on a lead for the comfort of all our guests.
We hold regular events including a quiz night and live music sessions.

We also serve a limited menu on Sundays 12 - 8 pm

Our kitchen is led by Head Chef Sean, serving a delicious menu that celebrates quality Cornish ingredients. Alongside our main menu and dedicated Children's menu, we also offer a regularly changing specials board featuring fresh dishes inspired by the best local produce available.
We cater for vegetarians, vegans and guests with food allergies or dietary requirements, ensuring every visit is relaxed and enjoyable.
Sundays feature a carvery too with delicious roasts and fresh veg - everyone's favourite. Don't forget our Dog Menu for your furry friends.
Meals are served in our restaurant and bar areas and in the garden with a new undercover seated area. What could be better than to enjoy a relaxed meal with friends or family under the Cornish sun with a chilled wine or local ale.
